DJ BOB DOOLEY - MULTI FORMAT DJ
DJ Bob Dooley started dj’ing at 16 years old. His first job was at the legendary Aldo’s Hideaway nightclub in Lyndhurst NJ. Spending 3 years at Aldo’s at a young age was a very valuable learning experience and grew his alternative and industrial music library immensely. After Aldo’s he went onto a more house, electronic and hip hop direction. Shooters in Hoboken NJ was home for the next 3 years. Here he gained experience in a larger nightclub and dance floor. Playing at Shooters he played alongside international dj’s Funk Master Flex & Erick Morillo. This led onto other nightclubs such as Hip Hop House, Foxes, Crow Bar, Metro Lounge and more. After taking 10 years off he started playing at Dingo’s and between bands at Dingbatz with bands like Christian Death. When the legendary nightclubs Aldo’s and Loop Lounge started having frequent parties, he was one of the dj’s for these amazing events. Then one day he got a phone call from the manager of the one and only QXT’s in Newark, NJ. This was an offer he couldn’t refuse. This has been his best experience by far and brought a new dj life to him. He doesn’t like genres so you will hear all types of electronic dance, synthwave, goth, industrial, hip hop, reggae, disco, rock, 80’s, 90’s etc. etc.
